Introduction Into Airline Disasters Enabled By Attacks On Federal Airline Safety Inspector While on Life-and-Death Assignment: Homicide Offenses by Government Personnel! While attempting to carry out an unprecedented official life-and-death-assignment, FAA inspector Rodney Stich came under attack as he reported and attempted to correct the serious money-saving safety irregularities at a politically-powerful airline corporation. During these attacks, and during an FAA administrative hearing at which Rodney Stich acted similar to an independent prosecutor, three additional horrorific crashes occurred. Each of these was enabled by the same safety problems that Stich had reported in writing, for which he recommended preventative measures—which as standard FAA practices were never put into place−and for which FAA management retaliated against Stich for making the reports. Salt Lake City: a Textbook Classic, Proof of FAA Corruption, Crashes, and Deaths During the FAA hearing in Denver, while FAA management and lawyers argued that there were no safety problems, despite the many official reports saying there were, plus the series of airline disasters, a United Airlines jet crashes at the Salt Lake City airport. 43 people were cremated alive. Possibly no other crash had more evidence showing the deadly consequences of the culture, the corruption, and massive unaddressed safety problems. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) conducted the investigation of that crash and issued its official report. It identified the three areas of direct blame for the crash and the needless deaths of 43 passengers, which were obvious and which would be hard to hide. The NTSB left out of the report the culture and problems within the FAA that would result in a series of additional airline disasters, among them being the hijackings of four airliners on 9/11. The NTSB report blamed: The dangerous high sink rate of the captain that led to the crash. The failure of the flight engineer to perform certain duties after the crash. The failure of the flight crew to properly evacuate the passengers. As it often does, this is what the political NTSB board members left out of the report: Stich had repeatedly reported the lack of altitude awareness and was promoting a procedure to correct that problem. But FAA management ordered him to halt these procedures. During the FAA hearing, FAA management−and the hearing officer, William Jennings−claimed that Stich never made any such reports, a false statement proven by the official documents in the 4500-page hearing transcript. FAA management, after receiving a complaint from United Airlines and its pilot union, suspended Stich from any safety functions for three weeks. The reason: Stich had tactfully stated to a senior union member, Bart Stephens, following a fighter-type ultra high-sink-rate approach to Los Angeles International Airport, that his approach technique was considered unsafe. Stich had reported the dangerous high-sink-rate approach of that same captain who later crashed at Salt Lake City. The required corrective training was not ordered, and Stich was suspended for several weeks for having reported the problem at United Airlines. Stich had written numerous detailed reports describing in detail the serious problems with the UAL flight engineer training program, with numerous references to UAL captain who agreed. In response to these reports, aviation safety ignorant FAA-management accused Stich of being paranoid. The (reflecting the numerous written reports by Stich that the flight engineer training program was the worst that he had ever seen and that many flight engineers were not qualified to safely handle the aircraft systems. As it related to the poor evacuation of passengers, Stich had three written reports describing UAL's failure to provide yearly training as specifically required by the most strongly worded safety directives ever issues, and that the airline was falsifying records to show yearly training when it was only done every three years, and then only in part. And it left out the retaliation that FAA management inflicted upon Stich for making the reports. That problem had been the subject of several reports by Stich, including a recommendation for specific corrective actions to be taken. As with every other recommendation, and following FAA culture, the problem and corrective actions were ignored.. American Airlines Crash at Cincinnati An American Airlines 727 crashed shortly thereafter while approaching the Cincinnati Airport. The NTSB blamed the crash on lack of altitude awareness. Similar problem to that of the United Airlines crash into Lake Michigan. One reason the NTSB covered up for the deep-seated culture problems within the FAA was to protect itself. Stich, and other inspectors, had reported directly to the NTSB board in the past about the corruption that existed in the FAA and did the universal cover-up, making possible subsequent crashes and deaths. NTSB Cover-Up Made Other Disasters Possible There were many deadly consequences to the cover-up by NTSB board members. These included for instance a United Airlines crash at Portland, Oregon, which was so closely tied to the corruption that was documented during the FAA hearing in Denver that it did the rare step of eliminating the public hearing. Another crash occurred in the mountains near Denver, Another occurred during takeoff from Los Angeles, crashing into the Pacific Ocean. Another occurred during approach to Chicago's Midway Airport. And these were only those occurring at United Airlines, without address those occurring at other airlines due to similar FAA problems.
